Strategy & Execution

Taking a step back to look at the big picture and plan ahead is so important. Many factors are evaluated while prioritizing and creating a product plan/roadmap, reviewing where we’re currently at and looking ahead to where we need to go. Some examples include metric analysis, user research and testing, market research, competitive analysis, business goals, cost/benefit analysis, team collaboration and brainstorming. I create tangible goals that inspire the team to implement great solutions. I’m always adapting my process to improve, one example of this is how I started using the objective focused roadmap ‘Now-Next-Later’ and the use of OKRs.

Data Driven

I love spending time diving into product and user metrics, seeing the story it tells become clearer. Drilling into key performance indicators such as conversion, monthly active users and retention helps me evaluate our product strategy and business goals. Analyzing feature usage provides insight that inspires our product plan, design decisions and priorities so we can get better and better at solving users’ needs and making their lives easier.

User Focused

My background in high quality UX design, empathy and attention to detail provides a customer focused process that achieves value and impact. Thoroughly thinking through the user journey first gets me into the mind of the user before I work on the design. Through collaboration and feedback from peers and developers I continually iterate and refine the details, driving implementation through to launch.

Just for fun

I’ve always loved photography, color and abstract art. As an entrepreneur in my twenties, I ran a professional photography business that also inspired a love for digital media. So I still occasionally have fun playing around with my photographs creating collages.
